Apricot kernel oil
Caractéristiques
-
The Prunus Armeniaca, the most commonly cultivated apricot species, belongs to the Rosaceae family. It grows to be to 4 meters in height. Its flowers are white and pink on the inside and its orange fruit is sweet and delicious.
The oil is obtained by expeller pressing the kernels. The apricot kernel essence is used for producing antirheumatic massage ointments. Due to our refining process, the resulting yellow oil has no taste or aroma at all. Once the oil is extracted, the resulting cake is a perfect component for cataplasms and masks. The resulting cake contains 50% essential oils, albumins and sugars.
